The ones who care beyond compare.

Spanning multiple cultures, generations, educational backgrounds and areas of medical expertise, our multilingual team delivers care that’s as human as care gets.

Dovid Liff LNHA

Assistant Administrator

Dovid has joined the team at Hope Center from nearby Triboro Center and, is highly regarded as the Assistant Administrator as well as for his help in overseeing the Assisted Living Facility. He was welcomed very warmly by the talented staff and feels that he is now part of the family. “The residents and staff are all a pleasure to deal with, and I’ll do anything to help make sure they are happy and feel cared for. I take great pride in having a relationship with every resident at Hope Center and I ‘ll always do my best to remain very approachable. The residents here have so much promise, and the team does such a great job in every way. It’s truly an honor to be here!”

Shragi Weisz

Executive Director

Sometimes the best way to find a proven leader is to look right in your own backyard, and that’s where went for a leader of the Hope Center team. As the administrator at our nearby University Center, Shragi oversaw the operation of another one of our five-star facilities, so he’s accustomed to expecting excellence and to deliver it. “I spent years in the corporate office helping our team of administrators run their respective facilities, but what I really wanted was to take the reins myself. The opportunity to jump in at University was fantastic, but now I truly have a home of my own, and I love it here. Hope Center is unlike any other facility I’ve been in. The residents here have so much promise, and the team does such a great job in every way. It’s an honor to be here.”

With an approach like that, there’s a lot to look forward to with Shragi at the helm.

Cheral Beadle RN

Director of Nursing

Being the Director of Nursing here is like being a small-town doctor. You know everyone in terms of their medical conditions, but more importantly you know everyone as a person, as a friend, as a neighbor. That’s what I love about it here. That and my terrific staff.

Maxine Baxter

Director of Social Services

“I’m a real family person, and that’s what makes working at Hope Center so special for me. Because it gives me a whole second family. At one home are the love of my life and three beautiful children, and at the other is the job of my life, and 65 people that I think of as my ‘other’ children. And the staff? Brothers and sisters, of course.” At Centers Health Care, we have a guiding principle for selecting social workers: when we find one who sounds like this, we hang on tight to them. Because Maxine’s family is exactly how we feel about our Centers family. When you visit us at Hope Center, look around for Maxine and say hello. She’ll be the one completely surrounded by family.

Knowledge is health.

For the absolute highest quality of care, Hope Center staffs medical providers on each unit who stay in constant communication with leadership throughout the day. Team collaboration is our forte, and this commitment helps us maintain an unbeatable continuum of care.

Our team also works hard to keep therapies as consistent as possible, tracking all communications through an advanced electronic medical record system. This ensures immediate transmission of information across the entire care network.

Coronavirus Update

We are aware of the Governor’s new guidance regarding nursing home visitors. We are as excited as you are to welcome you all back to our facility but need to ensure that we do so safely and in keeping with the guidelines outlined in the Governor’s letter.

It is important to note that per the Governor’s guidelines we will not be permitted to open up to visitors until 5 days from the date of this notice at the earliest. In addition to this timing requirement, the Department of Health must also first approve our individualized reopening plan before allowing visitors.

We will be updating the website with more information as it becomes available. Please click here for the complete New York Sate guidelines.

Thank you for your understanding and patience.
